Seadrift Fishmarket

Fresh seafood and helpful staff. You can buy to cook at home or order fish and chips from whatever fish they have that day. My group order halibut, cod, and salmon fish and chips and the fish tacos. The cod was like little fishy clouds, crisp on the outside. The halibut was fresh and tasty as was the salmon. I couldn't convince my son to let me try his tacos but he assured me they were delicious. Make a trip here if you can.

Bought “fresh” cod from here, excited to make fish n chips and when I took it out of the fridge 2 hours after having bought it, it smelled like rotten garbage. It looked perfectly fine so I didn’t know when I was buying. I took it back to return it and get the issue resolved and the server is like it smells fine and this is what cod is supposed to smell like. I’m sorry no food is supposed to smell rotten. Especially not fish. Fish shouldn’t smell fishy unless it’s been sitting for a while and it should smell rotten only if it’s in the garbage.She returned my money back to me but the customer service is horrible. Why would a customer lie to you for $14? And drive two ways to and fro the market? I’m never going back. You guys can make your decision.
